glitchforge is a video glitching tool. It runs as an iOS app and as a web app. Drop a video in, stack effects in any order, render, and get back a file that plays. Same settings, same result every time.

It works at four depths. The frame engine (melt, bloom, feedback, reorder) removes and duplicates encoded frames, which is where the classic datamosh look comes from. The pixel engine sorts, shifts, and corrupts decoded frames. The codec engine edits motion vectors and transform coefficients directly, so it can smear, freeze, and warp the picture at the bitstream level. The analog engine fakes VHS tracking errors, ghosting, and signal roll.

Any effect can be aimed at a region of the frame or a window of time, and animated across the clip. The rack UI lets you drag, reorder, bypass, and solo stages before you render.

Everything runs on the device. No account, no subscription, no ads, no network.
